COMING May 24: GENE HOSEY to MIDTOWN SCHOLAR

         COMING May 24: GENE HOSEY

Gene Hosey is an award-winning poet, performer, and was the original poet laureate of Harrisburg. He was a founding member of the nationally known poets and performers group, "The Paper Sword".
Publications include poetry and reviews in numerous literary journals such as New Letters, Cutthroat Journal of the Arts, One Trick Pony Review, Fledgling Rag,  Experimental Forest, and Black Magnolias as well as spoken word albums, and four amazing verse collections.
Hosey performs vigorously along the Eastern Seaboard, sometimes with a band. Sometimes abounding with simply his own unique fervor! He lives the storybook American life in a place called Lisburn, with his creative wife and companion, Terrie.

Gene Hosey reminds us that we are moving toward what Dennis Hopper, paraphrasing Andy Warhol, paraphrasing Duchamp, described as a time when the 'artist' will merely point, and whatever it is the artist points at  is 'art'.
The Midtown Scholar Bookstore js located at 1302 North Third Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102, Phone: 717.236.1680.
